Ways to Save Energy and Money
- Clean or replace the Furnace filter frequently-monthly during heaviest use. Don’t forget to change during air conditioning season as air is still being
filtered through filter.
- Get Fall & Spring Checks on equipment
- Keep fallen leaves, grass, clippings, dryer lint, and other dirt and debris away from the system’s outdoor condenser. And keep the condenser coils clean.
- Cut back grass and foilage to permit easy air flow around the house.
- See that leaks and ducts are sealed and that the ducts in uncooled spaces are insulated.
- Don’t block vents or ducts inside the house!
- Caulk and install weather stripping around windows and doors
- Run fans to keep air moving, so you feel cooler and can cut back air conditioning use.
